Presentation of www.azexport.az portal was conducted

On December 20 presentation of azexport.az portal created by Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication Center was conducted at ADA University.

The mission of the portal which was developed by Cybernet company is to create a useful platform for providing information on the products of Azerbaijan and their sale both in the intenal and external markets. The portal is intergrated with the most popular electronic sales networks of the world such as Alibaba, Allbiz and promotes products of Azerbijan in the world. The leading transport and logistics companies and payment systems of the world have been integrated to azexport.az for the realization of the products of Azerbaijan. “Made in Azerbaijan” brand is promoted to the customers via constantly updated, easy to use, accessible, secure, and flexible azexport.az.

During the presentation the participants spoke about the functionality of the portal, principles of operation of the common database on Azerbaijani manufacturers, also additional options offered by the portal to the exporters. Information was also provided on the national and international payment systems, transport and logistics services, real time translation service integrated to the portal, also the opportunities of location of Azərbaijani goods in the international trade platforms. The integration of “Asan İmza” - enhanced mobile electronic signature service to the portal provides wide opportunities for the entrepreneurs who wish to register their goods on www.azexport.az internet resource. The use of “Asan İmza” mobile electronic signature service as an authorization tool to enter the portal releases the entrepreneurs from additional registration obligation. If an entrepreneur is the owner of the company and has an enhanced mobile electronic signature, then he/she may enter the site without additional registration and add information on his/her goods to the portal.

At the end of the presentation a video was demonstrated on azexport.az resource. In this video Goran Sumkovski, UN Development Program Expert, Tunc Uyanık, Director of World Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Forum, Rukhsara Ramazanova, representative of all.biz sales and purchase platform,  Fren Chin, General Manager of alibaba.com Global Partner spoke about their cooperation with azexport.az portal and expressed their confidence, that the portal would support development of business in Azerbaijan.

It should be stated, that azexport.az was created under the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, Ilham Aliyev, “On Creating of  common database of the goods manufactured in the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated of September 21, 2016.
