Cybernet celebrates its 10th anniversary

On November 26th, a jubilee event was held at the Hilton Baku Hotel on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Cybernet.

The general director of Cybernet , Ilham Namazov, , made a speech at the event, describing the company's development. Cybernet began its activity in 2004. Within that time, the number of employees increased ten-fold, and the general director of Cybernet underlined that the company had developed and put into execution the automation of the management system for state and private organizations. The presenter especially noted the automated tax information system and, the system of electronic declarations, the first in our country. I. Namazov spoke about the application of the automated document management system the basis of the joint project of  World Bank and the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan on property issues, and about the work carried out in the field of real estate registration and cadastre management.

Kamran Abbasov, the Chairman of the Synergy Group, spoke about the importance of the investments in the non-oil sector, allocated by dynamically developing holding company Synergy Group, and announced the results of the reforms for long-term economic development being carried out by the government of the state. The Chairman of the Board noted that as a result of 10 years of successful activity, Cybernet became the national brand in the field of ICT. 

The Deputy General  Director of Cybernet  Anar Mehdiyev made a report, reflecting the history of the company's 10-year development and noted that after the last year’s  rebranding, Cybernet moved to multifaceted activity in the IT field. The presenter also noted that there is a great need for services and solutions, offered by the company, not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the CIS countries.
